FUELING YOUR FAITH

FUELING YOUR FAITH
For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith. 5 And who can win this battle against the world? Only those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God (1 John 5:4 NLT)
Introduction
Life is full of challenges. Challenges and trials are part of life, universal and inevitable. “I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world” (John 16:33 NLT). Therefore, no matter the circumstances you find yourself; be positive, stay happy and don’t let the world get you down. The pains you feel today is the strength you will receive tomorrow. In every challenge encountered, there is opportunity for growth. God brings men into deep waters, not to drown them, but to cleanse them. I want you to understand that whatever you pass through today, serves a purpose. It maybe, to keep you down for a while, in order to preserve you for the future glory. In the school of GOD, all courses are compulsory. You need to go through a valley of experience for the task ahead.
While some are overwhelmed by life’s challenges, others persevered and overcome. Your overcoming or being overcome by the circumstances of life is determined by the level of your FAITH.
WHAT IS FAITH?
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” (Heb 11:1). The above passage gives a description of faith. Take note of the words; substance and evidence.
Substance is material from which something is made. Evidence means proof or outward sign or indication. Therefore, Faith is the confidence that gives you hope and a demonstration of those things you anticipate before their manifestation. In order words, faith is being convinced that you have received your expectations before the manifestation. As a result, faith don’t act like who is expecting but who has received... therefore, you demonstrate and behave your expectations even when you are yet to receive.
I want you to understand that faith is a risk. It defiles the sense organs and logical reasoning. A lot of what GOD will do to move you forward will not make any sense to the average mind. Faith denies reality. There are moments when you must suspend your must suspend your five sense and trust the tiny strings of God’s Word, because “For we walk by faith, not by sight” (2Cor 5:7). Use your senses as you go through life but practice more “NONSENSE.” For instance, it makes no sense for GOD to ask a man to sacrifice his only son whom he got after 25 years of bareness. I make no sense for a widow without a breadwinner to feed a prophet first before GOD visited her... Faith is taking the first step even when you can’t see the whole stair case.” It is a risk and without it is death. Successful people are always risk takers. There is no impossibility to what you can achieve. I have never seen a height that cannot be attain. Once you set your mind on a thing, you will surely achieve it. If a vision or mission is not bigger than you, GOD is not involved. If a shoe is not bigger than you, there is no room for growth. Think big, act big, believe larger and associate higher. Faith is the answer. Leave your comfort zone and deny reality. Don’t allow your sense organs to limit your greatness on earth. Faith is like a WIFI, it is invisible but has a power to connect you to what you need. It is the only recognised currency with which you buy from heaven.
